Gremlins in the r/t

Truck randomly hesitates or fails to turn over. battery is good. alternator is 130amp with brand new brushes in it. alternator shop says the PCM is the regulator for our units. would a hypertech 93 flash cause this?

mods:
Stock 360 block
mildly ported heads
comp cam
hughes springs, locks, and retainers
hs 1.6 rr
melling hv oil pump
m1 intake
fastman 52mm tb
mopar air cleaner and valvecovers
ac delete
mopar pph headers ceramic coated by jet hot
summit dual 11" e-fan with flex-a-lite controller
180* thermostat
4/5 drop
5% windows(soon to be redone all the way around in 5%)
rollpan
clears
Brand New Transmission, less than 500 miles
shift kit
new tires
lebra tonneau cover
panasonic cd player
kicker front door speakers
6000k hid's
hypertech- 93 octane flash, speedometer correction, rev limit +300rpm

Its the roll pan... and possibly your tinted windows doing it....try taking them out and seeing if it'll work

yeah send me the rollpan and the drop and i will take a look at it and install and test it out on my whip. you may never see it back though. lol

He bought the truck with all the mods done.


Have you checked the basics:
battery cables tight?
grounds good?
spark plug wires aren't melted at all?
PCM is plugged in all the way?

Just a few thoughts that come to mind that are often over looked

didnt do it until after the hypertech 93 flash. my best friend got a dak and it came with a programmer. still gonna get the sct tho' could the the pcm be going bad? i know that it is the regulator for these trucks.

i know that the connections are solid on the pcm, alternator, and battery. havent checked the starter because its so low its a major PITA to get to. I doubt the starter because when it does work it does so flawlessly.

the pic is my buddies dak i mentioned. i shopped' the lower stance and grille because that is what hes considering doing
