ok guys, need some pics, and options
im lookin to bag my 00 cc r/t in less than two weeks, and i need to know if the route im taking is gonna work.
im thinking wishbone 4 link kit and make my own cup kit.. also doin a good size notch want the diff as close to the bed without touching.. i dont plan on running shocks.. but if the majority thinks its better that way, i can change that... id like some pics of setups, and maybe some measurements.
i want it as low as possible, and im gonna be using slam specialties bags...

If your get 70 miles per gallon by puttin shocks on you must be god... lol I get what your sayin.. Ok so shocks are a definite then.. Yeah, id love to lay it out..but im not cuttin my bed up, im wantin to still be able to haul the panty dropper in it.. If there's a way to do it without cuttin the bed(and im not buyin the airbar.. I can build that myself..) Then I'll gladly go for the ground.. But if not, then as low, as cheap as possible is what im wanting..any type of fabbin or welding, I can handle, just not exactly sure on what will get me the lowest..bag under/ behind diff seems like itd get me the lowest, am I correct in that assumption? And on the front, the smaller the cups the lower it sits, correct?

bag under and behind sucks. my buddy did that on his s-10 and he get absolutly no lift. as for shocks you better runn them in the rear especially if you dont then you mind will change real quick and you will put them on.
as for a 3link wishbone..are you wanting to be like an s-10? just puut a 10in notch in it and build a trigulated 4link with the bags on the lower bars. you will get the best ride quality and get some dam good lift. for the front just get fullsize chevy upper cups thats what most of us run the fit perfect.
..and also cando specialties makes tubular control arms for 97-up dakotas..if your interested

i'd honestly go 20s first if this is your first mini, i want 22's but im setting up with 18's and decent sidewall.
and you'll need to cut the bed to lay, you could raise the floor, you wouldnt need more than 3-4 inches anyways
what are you gonna haul? you could mod the bed to fit it specifically
ohiominitrucks.com
you'll get plenty of help from there

Well I won't cut the bed.. I'll basically be sitting on the tires I guess.. For now, all the work to lay out isn't an option.. Probably go 22's and go as low as she'll go for now..then maybe this winter, it'll get layed out and all..needs new paint anyways, so I'll just completely redo the whole thing.. So what's my best options for now and then.. I don't wanna redo anything.
