Need some advice on baggin...

All right guys, I am new to this forum, but not to mini trucks. I have done 2 Isuzu Hombre's, and 1 S-10 so far, but the Dodge Dakota is kind of new to me.

I just bought a 95 Dakota Sport, Regular cab, V-6 truck. Pretty damn nice body besides a few dents, interior needs some work, runs great.

I am looking to start baggin it soon. What parts are alot of you guys using on these older square body Dakota's?? On the Isuzu's, it was east to buy parts since it was the same as an S-10, and you can buy cups, links, etc.....all made for an s-10. I dont see that kind of thing out there for the Dakotas.

Any help would be muchly appreciated!! I am excited to get to know you guys and be a part of this forum!!

(I only kept the name slammed isuzu because I have had it on all other forums and many people know me by that name)

Welcome noob, And simply stated they DONT make many parts for our trucks. That is why alot of us like them. You will either need to modify existing parts available for other trucks or make your own. Since we get this question almost daily, I would recommend using the search function and doing some reading, Their alot of Gen 2 being bagged right know and in the past, so the info is here. Again welcome and any specific questions we will try to help you out.

welcome

your gunna have to make parts but there are certain things we can get away with. no kits are made

for the front s-10 or fullsize chevy cups will work you just have to trim them down. use nothing but western chassis spindles (they are they only ones truely engineer for the dak.) www.sporttruckdirect.com sells them....the control arms your gunna have to modify them. or you can wait till fall. i have been helping the owner of cando specialties in the developement of early gen control arms...but they are nowhere close to being done right now.

the rear your gunna have to make a 4link. or have suicidedoors make one for you.

there is alot of advise i and the few other can give it just depends what route you are planning on taking with this...like as to the fact you can convert your truck to 5 lug buy switching over to the first gen dak hubs and axles....just ask away or pm me and i'll be glad to help
