damn sniper bumper

alright well after a weekend with djwolf, 00dakota , and layindakota98 of dragging and riding low i now have a problem. i raised my truck up to see how the frame looks and first i saw that half of my rack and pinion bolts are shaved away. thats fine though whatever just put new bolts in if i have to. the real problem was when i was getting out from underneath my truck i noticed i drug threw the bottom of my bumper.....damn it. that sucked but it was underneath so no one could really see it . i stopped dragging and the next day my girl says that sucks you got that hole in the front of the bumper. i was like WHAT!!!! , i go out side to find out theirs a hole in the front of the bumper and cracked at the top of the bumper right under the headlight. i have no clue how that happened because after i found out i drug threw the bottom i stoped dragging and stopped riding so low, so i never hit nuthing. i'm so lost but maybe it's cause it's so fucking cold. i'll have pictures up soon but i had time to write this and it's on my mind. i don't know if i'm going to go with the same bumper or if i'm getting a diffrent one yet . i wonder if maybe i can fix the bumper by fiberglassing it. maybe even change some things that i don't like that are on their by shaving it off and then fiberglassing it smooth.

i dunno man, it maybe from the dragging, the pressure of it being scrapped and pulled back might of shot a crack up through the fiberglass. if thats not it i dunno what it couldve been.

well the thing is , the hole didn't appear till the next day. i saw the botttom was drug threw so i started checking the whole bumper and it was fine but then the next day theirs a hole and the top had a little crack in it. whatever , i drag hard. anyways as i look at it.......when ever somthing gets messed up it gives room for improvment. like .....drag threw frame....time to do a fully boxed frame. dent the tailgate .....time to get a cali combo skin. mess up a rim....time to go bigger.

idk bro. it could have been the rock to the windsheild deal. ya know like when a rock hits your windsheild and doesn't care it bad till the next day?? since its cold and all you were draggin hard you could have just put stress on it and the coldness decided to be gay and screw you over.. idk though, that's retarded that happened

also i have no clue about what your weather has been like... but i know like if it gets hot (depends on how hot it is frame dragging) and than cold again it will like warp you know... and if it already has a crack it will just mess it up??
just taking a guess

the sniper bumper is urethan right?

If so I could be because its cold that it cracked it, but from what I understand urethan doesn't crack even if its cold and I can vouch for that since I backed up into something when it I was in wyoming during a snow storm and my rollpan didn't crack just has a dent in it.

its fiberglass right? the crack is from the cold when you drug thru the bottom of the bumper it left it thin which could have made a hairline crack but as soon as the temp drops the crack goes from little to huge jus l.ike a windsheild. i would say try to find a eurothane bumper you like they dnt crack and can be heated back into shape if you hit something i like the look of my stock bumper wit it shaved. if you like it its goin to be forsale in the next couple months when i redo my front. so far im down to jus needing a l.eft fender and it will be back into the garage till it makes its appearance

Pretty sure its urethane. The hood and grille are glass. If yer gonna drag the piss out of id run the stocker, last I checked the sniper bumper was 2 0r 3 bills plus paint, expensive to turn into road dust.

I think it resented the rest of your truck and tried to run away.... use stronger glue!
