Door Handle Question?
I know that the door handles are listed '97-'99 and '00-'01 or at least dodgeparts.com lists them that way. Does anybody know what the difference is and why they won't interchange? I appreicate the help!

Dodge made some "upgrades" in the 00 model year, for some reason not all parts interchange, but some do, most parts places just list them differently to avoid confusion

I was wanting to get me another set of door handles for painting. I can get a set for a '97-'99 but didn't want to go through all the trouble of painting and then find out they wouldn't work on my '01. Thanks for the info!

I'm almost positive the door handles are not interchangeable..... Something about the way it attaches to the linkage or possibly the linkage itself...can't really remember

I thought it was something like that but I've never had both side by side to compare the difference. Thanks for the info!
