what to do with tailgate
orderred taillight fillers & rollpan from grant kustoms also got licinse plate box to put in tailgate.but i am looking for so ideas on what to do with the 2 lines in gate. pic would be great thanks

you could fade the edges of the lines, shave one or the other or both,
whatever you do, do something, they look bad if you shave the lights and keep the lines stock
IMO, you could keep the lines, but fade the edges so you have something to bring attention to the rear.
(but i'm not even positive on what im gonna do with mine)

sorry for kind of highjack thread
but how do you shave the body lines... i shaved my antenna, tailgate and fenders
but i think the body lines would be hard
or do yuou do the exact same thing and just make a bunch of tac welds?

i dont ahve a great pic but heres my buddys daks shaved lights with body lines fadded
if done right it looks good

i say u put lights from a colbalt, or minicooper in the tailgate, or put bug lights on a 90º angle where factory lights were.

i like the fadded lines, but how is done.if i did it with bound .i drive my truck daily,think it might crack after a while

I shaved both lines on mine....i used heavy fiberglass filler to fill iin the most part...and then some good rage filler....i had the gate on my old truck for almost a year and never had any probs with cracking......you could also weld some strips of metal in...That would take forever, that would be almost 12 ft of welding TAC BY TAC....

Does Sir Micheal's make a Cali Combo for 99 Dakotas? I cant find one by them I can find an FBI combo, but who else makes one and which do you guys think is best?
