progress on front liscense plate project

Ok, I had all my measurements down a week ago and I finally had time to cut things up and put them together. BTW, some my measurments were off by about 1/8 inch and that made one hell of a bi-otch to put back on the truck....

It looks like crap right now, however I have some filling in to do and then paint it and it'll be hot stuff. (you can see some lines and markings I made before hand too)

I also finally got my decal. thought I'd throw that in to, haha

oh yea, my bumper looks warped at the top b/c I need a new reinforcment bar. I got to a wreck a while ago and was run off the road into a pole, I ended up just cutting the bar so I could throw my bumper back on.


insurance don't kno bout that one... haha I didn't catch the guys liscense before he backed up and took off

thats exactly what I was thinking when I cam up with the idea. In va, the road laws are stricy as hell so I figured go with the flow, can't pull me over for lookin good.

actually knowing va cops they'd write a ticket just for being too shiny....

Mine was made by brown design studios. the guy is pretty cool, if you want some just go on dakota-durango.com parts info, and go to grill shells or something. He's the first one to pop up. I'm sure he'll send you a cut out of what he sent me or any size you need. mine was pre-bent and came with the grill shell. He's a cool dude.

the grill shell and grill costed me... I forget... It's cheaper than street scene though, I think.
