Bat-truck?

an idea i've been throwing around but nixed awhile ago, because my trucks gonna be my daily....

when i do the body work on the truck, i'm thinking about doing a Bat-truck theme, nothing outlandish, but more than just a couple small cues.

i've been going through some old batman cartoons trying to get a feel for how i want to do the "cockpit"

it brought up the old ideas.

what do you guys think? any ideas/suggestions....?
i'm not sure how i would go about doing it at all.
i'm doin the body next year-ish, after i do some draggin damage

Well, since I was searching threw the threads and noone else has any input, I'll give you some of mine....

FIRST OFF - It's your truck, you like what you like, only you can make a final decision on what you like or want! Just like my truck, I took alot of shit for taking off the R/T wheels and putting on black ones....but, thats what I liked!

So with that said.... I wouldn't do it. The whole bat-man theme has been done and done over again! To me, it would be taking a step back, not doing something new or creative. But at the same time, if thats what you like, then do it! I just wouldn't go too overboard with the theme....

I think if you can put a new twist on it, it'd be cool..... The problem is how do you go about doing that?

exactly my issue
i can't seem to find a way to do it new and different.
i just figured id toss it out there and see if anybody had some ideas to get my creative juices flowing....

i am gonna go with a themed interior, and some subtle cues on the outside at least...

i've always wanted to do a full-on batmobile though....
maybe my next project.

For the inside, an obvious blacked-out theme would be cool. maybe try to hook it up to look a bit like the inside of the Batmobile. On the outside i think it might be cool to do the bat symbol in the front grill somehow. and if you really want to match it up, Flamethrowers on your rear exhaust just like batman

Like everyone else said, its your truck, go with what you want, but those are some ideas i think would be cool

i'm actually going with a blacked out theme...
some batstuff, digitals, and some more high tech stuff
most everythings gonna get covered in black denim, if not, its gonna be painted to match the exterior

you can get some custom gauge inlays that have the bat on 'em..also mindtometal.com can cut you a custom acrylic steering wheel. (like get just the 2-piece [pilot style] not the full circle) but def all blacked out would be bad ass. with maybe some suttle airbrushing ghosted in

...just a thought
