bed plan

OK guys, its time to unveil the plan i have for my bed after i get the air and stuff done.

im gonna raise the floor in the front, with the front boxed off for the toolbox.
once it gets to the notches, its gonna have an angle that will slope the floor to meet the original floor at the base of the tailgate, the sides are gonna be smooth one piece panels, the floor and sides are gonna be attached with countersunk SS screws

why you ask? instead of welding?
the floor and sides are gonna be 8 gauge or comparable size ALUMINUM.
no paint,

topped off with a slight dump action, only about a foot or so in the front. so that the tailgate will be just short of touching the ground at full dump. so i can drive a golf cart up without ramps.
and i will be able to move materials like sand, gravel and all that,
it will have a custom brushed-by-work look.

UNTOUCHABLE!

you should bag it and make a stake panel bed or whatever they are called.

it is gonna be that way, no air parts will be visible, the vlaves are gonn be in the toolbox, tanks under the bed

but for the dumps im running hoses down to the ground at each tire so when i dump on a dusty lot, you get clouds of dust on all 4 corners
lol
