autoloc makes the best kit. they have two types. the protocal and the autoloc...
they are made by the same company.
-only dif is autoloc has 50 - 75 lb solenoids.
-protocal has 35 lb ones......i run the protocall kit in my truck.

you can get them through www.suicidedoors.com or www.grantkustoms.com

dont forget door poppers they are spring mounted in the door jam the give you a lil push. cuz the solenoids only open the latch they dont push the door open. either site sells those also (grant sell indiviually...suicide sells ina set)

ps avs bolt on shave kits are designed for s-10s

I have autoloc poppers/solenoids/remote....etc....on mine...they arent bad...make sure u get heavy enough solenoids though, so it will pop open good......just get some sheetmetal for fillers...not that hard of a job..

i've got a shaved door handle kit from ebay and they've seemed to be working fine for the past year only thing is the relay they send you throw that away and get a really good high amp'd one, i've seemed to burn through the smaller ones. For the antenna I got a antenna that runs up on the windshield and that works just as good as the old stock one did.

Make your own filler plates theres plenty of resources out on the www. I did mine in a day. The cheaper ebay solenoids are crappy. I went through two sets already. Get the autoloc ones, they're pretty sturdy. You can also get a spal 7 channel remote and receiver to control all kinds of crap. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a manual pull to open the door, just in case. Mine has come in handy plenty of times. The only thing I didn't expect was drilling through the door jamb to mount the poppers. There's like three layers of metal and most poppers will push on your interior panel depending on placement.

i dont know why you guys use the poppers... you dont want the door to swing open, you just want it to barely pop open.. ive run all my cars like this(7 of them) and never had a single failure or problem... and for the poppers i usually use the door lock actuator that came with the car.. works just fine.. and made for long life.. plus once you shave them, you dont need locks any more... also, you just wire it into your alarm, so when you disarm it, the door pops. just be sure to grease the hell out of your bear claws.. the parts on the door that grip the latch on the body...you'll be amazed how much they actually pop once you lube them up real good..

we are talking about the solenoids for shaving the doors. i dont know about you but i have all manual locks so i have the solenoids to pull them open. the popper just pushes the door open like 4 inches..the never swing doors are too heavy to actually swing open under that tiny spring in the popper.
