[Project]: Slowly but Surely Shavin'.....

So I hooked up my two way alarm a few weeks ago, but still have to figure out why the LED stays on all the time, going to have to hook a switch up to it, because where I have it on my door, makes it shine right in my face...

First thing I did was hook up my dome light supervision... Then went on to hooking up my train horn up to one of my accessory channels.

Now I have two more, which will go to my solenoids!!

Got the passenger solenoid mounted, and the cable ran and tightened.
Need to run the power wire and hook it up to a relay.. I am ordering the solenoid for the driverside on saturday, and I need to get the wire to run.

I did test it, and it pulls good, so I am pumped.. Outer door handle is not hooked up any more, and I still need to order the popper's too.

Pics..

Once I have all of this hooked up, I am going to get the body work, but it may take some time, due to going to SEMA in a few weeks, and I don't drive the truck once snow starts falling, so I'll have time....

And thanks to Bobby/01Dakota for him doing it earlier this week, so I get to see the cheats to putting them in, (his pictures)

Got the relays all wired up. Ran main power wire and hooked up my Passenger door solenoid. Hell with out a popper, my door pops open. Set it up for my driver door, just have to wait for my 2nd solenoid to get in tomorrow, and then bolt it in, and connect it.

I still have to do body work of course, which may not be for a while, hook up the safety things, and disconnect my locks, so I don't lock them and get screwed...

Until next time....

Got my other solenoid yesterday and put it in, wired it up, and all done with that portion of the install. I plan on ordering my poppers on Monday, so I can get them and install them when I get back from SEMA/Vegas. It's funny too because my doors pop open enough that when the solenoid disengages, you can pull it away with out a popper, but not everytime.

Also, bought a welder yesterday, so I can start body work soon!

Got the welder, Cart, 2 halfway filled tanks with gauges/regulators... Just need a mask, but threw down some welds without a mask and with out looking, and it's pretty solid...
