Rally Dak
Okay, i have got this hairbrained idea to build my 96 extended cab into a rally inspired truck with some ideas based on other off road and street racing styles. I already have 2 out of 4 of my new tires(problems with shipping)they are 295-50r15 dean stinger gt's and im getting ready to order some 15x10 dick cepek dc1's in black, and im getting ready to get rid of my straight pipes for a more performance based set up. Now my questions are, what should i do to the suspension, how should i build my bumpers(thinking about a low pro prerunner inspired bumper), and anything else. Metal and fabrication isnt a problem, i work in a welding/machine shop and can do everything myself. Any ideas are appreciated

yup 4 link out back...with long travel dual rate coil overs mounted to the lower bar. much like a trophy truck, but able to run lower stance on ruff terrian (look into king bump stops..they are veriable rate and work like a cushion, they compress like a shock for a soft landing)
Poly Performance Inc.*::*Bump Stops & Mounts*::*King Air Bumps*::*King 2.0" Bump Stop - Jeep JK Synergy Suspension Systems, Fox Racing Shox, Beard, CTM, Johnny Joints®, Currie Enterprises, Edelbrock, Total Chaos, Ramsey Winch, Walker Evans, Wilwood,
or run the coil overs cantilever style at an angle..

they don't sit overly high, they radius out the wheelwells for tire clearance.
