thinking about buying

ok fellas and ladies if any on this board.

im thinking about buying an 02 ram 4wd 4 door trk.
mileage 113,xxx
motor 4.7 v8
trans. auto.
wheels fac steel
color red
interior tan

now my questions are
would this be a good truck to drive on daily basis?
might have a trailer to pull? (car hauler for dakota)

what type of fuel economy can i expect?
what type of problems are common on this model?

i figured i would ask these questions because most of us have other dodge products or now someone who does.

i had an older ram (85) that was very good to me but had few minor problems

just getting idea of what to expect out of it.

The 4.7 QC Ram I drive at work is kind of doggy, not to much spunk for that big truck, would really feel like that pulling a car trailer.

^true that. just find a cummins, it'll get just as good if not better gas mileage and pull a lot better. don't get one with an automatic trans though, they go out like crazy

Like others have said also, gas milage is poor on those trucks, a friend of mine has an 03, his is lifted with 35" tires, but we pulled his blazer to Layed out at the park 2 years ago and the truck averaged 9 miles per gallon, YIKES! Swore I would never do that again. Both the f150 and chevy get better milage, but I still love the look of the Ram. Personally I have an F250 with the 7.3 in it, and I love it, trailered the truck to ITB, and averaged 18mpg all the way, and couldn't hardly tell there was anything behind me.

Thats what I've heard, but I would like to know for sure, if it does happen, it will likely be my first show of the year.
