nope. i mean yeah it is possable to paint it like that in a weekend but you have to give it time to dry and a weekend isn't cutting it if you want to do it right the first time. i could bring my gun and little compressor but i'll tell ya now we don't have any paint booths around here to use for free so if we do it at a house your going to have fish eyes and ......well.......a maaco paint job narrows it down.

if you're just doing the top half you'd need at least 4 days and a paint booth.
my boss almost bought an old cargo container for me to convert into a paint booth.
dumb members said no.....

speaking of the meet, when is it again? and where?

no one has said anything is final yet on the meet... is as far as doing it in a garage it can be done with any problems. we painted my Infiniti in a garage and over night. it would matter of what type of paint we used. i went to autobody school in cleveland. so its possible but...

How did that paint job turn out? A weekend is a pretty short time to have when it comes to drying and what not. Hell as far as painting is concerned, there are enough compressors and guns around, it could get done, but wheater and other factors would make it extremely difficult. That being said, keep me posted, I'm down to help out for the cause, I'll be painting my truck sometime this year, so I'd love the practice, or the experience of learning techniques for my project.
