Exhaust Advice.

So How would i go about modifying my exhaust to get some more power...its basically stock. manifolds, back to the cat, and then pipe all the way to a turned out pipe behind the passenger side rear wheel. The hanger broke off so it rattles really bad. I dont have teh $$$ to get new pipe bent by a muffler shop for the whole things (which is what id like to do) but I want to maybe get a new muffler and definitely fix the rattle?
any ideas?

Not trying to steal a thread, but what about cut-outs? I too have to find the cheap way around everything. I understand you Rancidgore. A friend of mine said he ran a cut-out behind the cat before the muffler and it added subtle horsepower and a sick sound as well.. any thoughts anyone that knows more than i do? haha still a noob

What about them?

I have a pair on my R/T, they are typically installed in front of everything since the idea is to bypass the "restrictive" exhaust system. I like the sound of mine, I drive with them open all the time, only close them when a cop is around. I didn't see any performance gain at all from them, but I also did my whole exhaust at the same time. I'm assuming that my exhaust is more than enough for my current engine/mods and so the cutouts do not have any benefit, other than sound.

If your planning on it I recommend getting electric ones, unless you plan on leaving it open all the time no matter what.
