Acornstu says hey!

Just wanted to say hello. About to start work on my girlfriends 2000 durango. Mostly bolt ons and paint. Also planning a dakota for myself. I really like the dakota on the top left of the site logo. Anyone have pics of a similar paint scheme?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and i know it's a photoshop job. Was hoping maybe someone else liked it enough to follow through so i could get a look before i paint.

well, once we get the bugs worked out of the big 4.7 :/ i'm planning on

a 3" body lift.

The biggest tires i can fit without rubbing (33's i think)

some black machined face wheels. ( pricing big king mt wheel and tire packages atm)

A single cowl "viper" style hood.

One piece projection headligthts

Ram cutout tailight covers

Fender flares

Paint

Some kind of grill guard

Really just trying to make a clean and dependable truck as niether of us have a descent running vehicle atm. We are only home 4 days a month though anyway.

Then i'll be done with the durango (i hope) and will start hunting for a cheap dakota with a spare 4.7 i can pull out. Then start the long bodywork learning process and stuff a 360 in it.

Really hoping i'll get my new job that pays double. Nearly debt free so it should all come together pretty fast if i can keep up with all of the hours at work.

Sorry the formattings a little crazy. It's tough to blog on my cell phone

In the market for second gen. Don't really care about what year as long as it has either the 360 i want, or a 4.7 i can tear out and save for durango parts. She loves that thing for some reason. I guess it's alright though.
