End of June GTG!!!
Hey guys, Dad and me have been talking about this since last year and are finally doing something about it. We are going to be having a Dodge GTG at our place. There is plenty of parking with a large field beside the house, large covered pavilion incase of bad weather, and an above ground pool just incase it gets too hot! There is also lots of room for tents incase some of the out of town guys would want to stay for the weekend or just the night. We already have a few SOVA-Dakota guys coming in from Norfolk that are going to be pitching tents, so I encourage anyone out of town to stay!
There will be food and drinks, but feel free to bring food, drinks, plates, snacks, deserts, etc. if you can (it would be helpful if we get a large GTG). When it gets closer to time, I can start a food list so everyone knows what is needed. I don’t care if you stop by the dollar tree and get a $1 pack of napkins, anything would help!
The date is going to be the 30th of June. But like I said, we have guys coming into town Friday night and staying till Sunday, so feel free to stop by anytime. On Saturday we’ll start the grill up around 2 to make sure anyone making the trip has plenty of time to get there!
I really hope to see a bunch of you there! We are hoping to make this an annual~ semiannual event and would like to get things started with a bang!! So please pass this onto whoever you feel would like to join us! I’m also going to be posting this on the Dakota sites to see what I can stir up.
DIRECTIONS: (if you feel you need better directions, or coming in from a different direction, please just PM me.)
We are located in Mifflintown, Juniata County, PA 17059. We are about 10~15 mins off of Route 322 (Mifflintown Exit).
From Route 322:
- Get off 322 at the Mifflintown/McAlisterville exit (route 35).
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn onto Route 35 Southwest. (If your coming west on 322, you’ll turn left at the bottom of the ramp. If your coming East on 322, you’ll turn right at the bottom of the ramp.)
- Follow 35 all the way into town.
- Go straight at the red-light and cross the river bridge (still route 35).
- After the bridge, follow the road to the left. There will be a bank on your left hand side and the road name is Juniata St. (still all Route 35)
- Go up the hill and over the train tracks.
- After the train tracks, turn right onto Mowery St. route 333. (There will be a gas station on your right hand side)
- Follow Mowery and make a left turn onto Licking St.
- Stay on Licking Street for about 6.4 Miles and the house will be on your left hand side. It has grey siding. And you’ll see the large pavilion and pool in the back yard. We’ll have signs made up so you won’t miss it. If at anytime you think you might be lost, give me a call. It’s seriously not as hard as the directions make it sound.

Jay, as long as I can get the powder by then, it won't be a problem, I'm gonna need to see if I can get enough cash out of this paycheck to get your powder... that Tiger shit is exspensive! lol

Hellbound - looks to be about 3.5 hours for ya! Not as bad as I thought, its more less a straight shot west! Take 78 to 81, then 81 to 322! Unless the turnpike is closer/easy for ya. Then take the turnpike to 283, then 283 to 322/83. Hope to see ya bro, stay the weekend if ya can!!
Tweekin - not really knowing exactly where your coming from, but when I go to VA to PA, I take 270 to 15, then 15 to 581, then 581 to 81, then 81 to 322. But if your closer to 83, you can take 83 all the way to 322!.... let me know where your coming from. I can get to the MD border in about an hour or so.
