Anyone BMX?
ok, so along with building my lowrider bike I got talked into overhauling my old Haro. I was gonna build it up enough to get it working for exercise, but after talking with my friends I decided it would be nice to get back into it.
I was wondering if anyone new what the good companies are or any good site to order stuff from? There's a badass bike shop here but I don't want to pay third party prices for everything. and since I havn't ben on the scene in a few years I know practically nothing.
The shop also sponsors 4 Seasons BMX too. The best part is I go grew up with a couple of them and I roll to the usual car meets with a couple others, they said they want to try and get me on the team but I'm not sure if I'd be down for that yet....lol
I know I was a big flat land/small ramps kinda rider back in the day so I'm proly gonna set up for that again. I'm basically looking to go really light weight and durable on all my parts, but keep the color style of my bike.

i ride..haro's are heavy and suck but thats just my opinion.
www.albes.com <-they are the best in my opinion
www.danscomp.com <-they are able's rival (heads up poverty parts suck)
lightest and best stuff IMO is profile
(proper, shadow conspiracy and wethepeople are also really good)

yea, I've heard haro's are heavy, and riding one for many years I can testify for it haha
thats one reason I'm goin all light weight on it, I love it too much to let go. I've checked out danscomp.com, they have some good stuff. How is Demolition's products? THey look good but are they? mainly their 3-piece cranks....

Animal is always quality and comes in almost any color. They are pretty light too. Primo makes really good light cranks I've been ridin those for awile and they don't come loose either. Haros do suck I have one and every part except the frame and handlebars broke but Ima replace those too.

avent does some really nice bmx and mountain bike frames and components at a decent price (i do the down hill racing the crazy stuff) and bombshell its all stuff made in a small low quantity shop with exclent care, i know this all because my buddy works there. here is there page as u notice most bikes have bombshell parts, its one in the same the make alot of parts for red barron motorcycle, but depending on your size you will be better on a 24 inch bike. but u have to decide weather race or stunts. one will be a light weight kinda strong or u can get supeer strong and heavy. like the one in the picture 9 inches of travel in rear and 8 in front bike is pushing 60 lbs and at least 5 grang invested
