new bike
Well today is going to suck, but be great at the same time. I have to drive to Joliet IL area today. I hate driving, especially anything over an hour trip and to areas I don't know, but........ Great cause I have to go there to pick up my new bike. I currently have a 1974 Harley xlh ironhead, and I am keeping her. She's my little solo bobber styled ride, but the wiffy doesn't like riding on a bare rear fender, so I bought a 1998 Fatboy. Got a great deal on it, just the 8 hour round trip drive to get it will suck. Wish it was going to be warmer, then I would just have someone drive me up there and I'd ride it home. But as it stands, it's coming home in the back of my truck.

so true, but on the otherhand, now I can strip down my sportster and do some custom paint on it, right now it's flat black, but by spring, it will be so much more.

will get more pics of this bike as soon as I can, tried to take some today, but clear skies, bright sun, and lots of chrome, make for fuzzy, blurry pics.
here are a couple of pics of my sporty. it's more of a solo bobber style bike.
