Lowering kit feeler

Thinking about raising the truck back to stock and was seeing if anyone was interested in my lowering kit,it consists of 3"drop springs,4"blocks,and a brand new set of lowered shocks.I still have my front springs, but would have to get new shocks and rear u-bolts before I could get rid of it unless someone has spare stock shocks and u-bolts they would like to trade.Just let me know if anyone is interested.

8.25 axle tubes are 3" in diameter and the 9.25 is 3 and 5/8" in diameter. So yes they do have bigger u-bolts than on the 8.25. BTW no one I have found locally stocks any that large. 3" seems to be the limit. The only ones I found large enough locally were for spring over applications so they were square instead of round so that can't work. Let me know if you know where to buy locally because I had to wait a week for new ones when I swapped the rear axle in my truck for one with 4.56s and disc brakes, and screwed up the other ones taking them off.

John, thats why I'm having a hard time lowering my truck, I'm trying to find out if all Quad Cabs came with the bigger axle, or just the V8 ones. But I'm in the same boat, I can get blocks all day long, but can't find anywhere to get u-bolts(that aren't $20 each)NAPA Sucks!

im not sure if all quad cabs (including the v6) came with the 9.25. Are you having trouble finding kits that specify what axle they are for, or are you trying to buy one used and sellers arent sure which one they have? oh and $20 each sucks. If you just need a u-bolt replacement kit, PM XxLoFnKtAxX. He works for stylin trucks and he helped me get a replacement set for my DJM kit, and he got me a nice little discount as always. Great guy.

I sent him a PM a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard back from him yet. But really used or new, I'm having problems. I can't do a front/rear hanger kit right now, as I don't have the tools or facilities anymore.
