Contemplating stripping the truck...
... someone make me an offer that will change my mind. I have most of the stock pieces in the shop, so this is a real possibility.
KBB says my truck is worth $7000 tops, I have so much more in the truck than the $20K I'm asking it is almost funny (almost). Most of us in the hobby sink money in our rides over time; I just have had too much time with this truck, (over 6 years now). Should have sold it years ago, but I have just been having so much fun with the MADRT guys, I lost track of time.
I am jonesing to start the '66 Fastback, but need the space in the garage and funds for a full Pro-Touring/SCCA Track car build up on her.
Talk to me people!!!

dude i hate to be a heart breaker but almost 20 will probably never happen and judging the market now lookin for good gas milage newer vehicles i would say that selling it as is would be hard but even by strippin it i dont know if you would get the money you want from it but i think it would be more than selling it as a whole as much of a shame as it is to see the pretty of a truck gettin stripped back to stock i would say it might be the only way you are going to get the money you need for it

honestly stripping it is prolly gonna be the only way your gonna get some of your money back... unless u happen to hit the lotto and find the perfect person who is looking for exactly what u got and has the money your asking. im pretty sure everyone on here and other sites (if they know anything about your truck) will say its well worth the $20K your asking if u consider everything put into it. i hate to say it but stripping it and parting out is prolly gonna be the only way your gonna get some serious cash for it. GOODLUCK

Back Bumper (or at least tell me how you made it) not to be a vulture, keep your truck man, use it as a daily/parts hauler, tow vehicle for racecar.

I will! Don't do it man! That truck is a work of art and worth every penny! It would kill me to see it stripped. There are only a hand full of dakotas in the Dak community that everyone knows and yours is one of them. Sure there is alot of great parts to be had on that truck but please don't do it. It be different if I was getting rid of my truck cause I'm not near as far into it as you and not everyone knows my truck. Please don't do it Clint!
