dak vs. 5.3 chevy new styles

[Green 4.7]

has anyone raced any if so how did you come out. I race a boy with my 4.7 and got beat because I was spinning to bad to have a chance. When I was deciding whether i wanted the r/t or stay with my 4.7 raced him and he beat me by a half a truck link. That is with my superchip programer on both and a few more bolt ons with a one wheel firer on my 4.7. I know my 4.7 would bet the r/t that I had so any input would welcome. The 5.3 has about any bolt on you can put on without going into the motor.

I kill 5.3 chevs all the time...ive got a 5.2 with a lot of bolt ons...headers..cai..msd wires,coil,and 6al box...electric fan...underdrives...and i also put in 3:90 gears and posi trac....

I raced my friends 5.3 reg cab 2wd with my R/T when I first got it and he stayed with me till about 40 then I started pulling away. My only mods were a cat back exhaust and a K&N FIPK. Now I just hunt down Z06's!!!!LOL

I raced an 04 Silverado Ext Cab with the 5.3 and it wasn't even close. I ran him at Centerville, Arkansas and at half track I had him by 3 truck lengths and that was after spinning the tires and hitting the rev limiter in 2nd gear.
