dak eats 08 vette
so i was back at the track and a friend of mine that just loves to talk smack with his murdered out 08 vette happen to show up. Well of course i was taunting him about pulling that turd to the lights and after about ten minutes of him running his mouth about how bad it was he finally decided to pull it up. as always the bottle heater was on pressure was about 1100 electric fan had been on for a while so it was good and cool track was bout 92 degrees air was cooling of as the night went on. we run through the burn out box and i heat the mt et drags up and get a good purge from the nitrous. we stage and from the time i left the light through the 60 ft i knew his a@# was mine with the win light and a time of 7.96 and his 8.56 we pulled around as every one laughed at the bowtie turd now i hope he really feels good about that 50,000 dollar purchase when this 5,000 dollar truck roasted his a@# nothing says power like beating a vette

Lol that is good shit man...my friend had a second gen in highschool with a 318 and a 5speed with a supercharger and 150 shot of laughing gas and I used to love seeing him spank vettes and pretty much anything else he lined up with lol

Corvettes are pretty fast stock (I know I owned several) but I always see people turn really bad times with them at the track. I just looked at one of my time slips from my 01 C5 that I used to own with bolt ons, custom tune and drag radials 1/4 E.T. 11.664 1/4 mph 119.7 1/8 E.T. 7.445 1/8 mph 92.78. Not my fastest but my averege. And me driving my friends 07 Z06 with heads, cam, full exhaust, tune, drag radials 1/4 E.T. 10.198 1/4mph 135.76 1/8 E.T. 6.52 1/8 mph 104.72. What mods do you have on your truck?
