suicide doors on GenII Dak

anyone done this?
My buudy has been trying to talk me into doing it to my truck, but I'v never seen one done.
I still want to shave the handles, can I do this double mod to my doors?

offer up some pointers if it's been done.

Any truck looks good with suicide doors IMO. Not a easy mod to do or a cheap one if you pay a shop. I have mine done on my Nissan but I have seen a couple Daks with them and they look good.

Thanks fora link to that pic....though it did just change some plans.
I was wanting to do a reverse hinged hood on mine, and my buddy, Steve wanted me to do a tilt bed, well now I can't. I don't want to be one of those guys that builds his ride to look like someone elses. gotta try to keep it somewhat original.

though around here, that isn't hard, I get so much crap from people (and family) cause I'm "ruining a perfectly good truck" "why can't I leave well enough alone" "if it isn't broke, why am I fixing it"

I guess I just live in a retirement community, lol

haha my dad came to my house one day when i lived in ohio and i handed him a chunk of my frame (where i notched it) and he looked at me and said "well i guess you weren't joking about never selling the truck"

my moms jaw dropped cuz when they pulled up i had a pile of old fenders bumpers leaf springs and pieces of my frame layin next to the garage
