I've been thinking of getting one for a while, but that was before I bagged my truck, I used to get a whole lot of frame flexing, to the point that a tab on my tonneau hit my cab and scratched/dented it. Doubt I'll be able to do it now that I'm bagged though. If you just have a static drop you'll be fine with it.

There is a group buy on the X-Brace made by TVR Motorsports. The brace is only for RC auto, CC auto and CC 5-speed. This will not fit RC 5-speed. To install the brace you drill four holes and it bolts right up.

The price is $225 dollars. If there are more than 10 ordered the shipping is free but if there is less then 10 shipping is $25 bring the price to $250. This price is only going to be good for a few weeks so you need to contact tvrmotorsports@yahoo.com ASAP. You can also ask him questions over on Bionic Dodge.

If you get in on the buy tell him what web site you got this off of.

Do you remove the existing crossmember under the drive shaft? I was thinking about removing it and mounting it on the inside of the bottom lip on the frame but afraid the drive shaft will hit it when the rear end is raised up for taking tires off and so on.

I think I'll just have to buy this set up for the R/T when I get the hotchkis and caltracs set-up.

When that is gonna happen I don't know. The 03 comes first in the mods arena.
