all depends.... one of my buddies spent $6000 to have a backhalf built with a custom true-cantilever forward 4 link. price also included having the rear end narrowed. the company didn't do any air management or the front. this is all on a dakota of course. the same company will charge $6000 to bag an s10 with a bolt-on kit, with all parts included.

well i'm pretty sure the guy you are talkin about is on here. from the pictures i have seen he does good work. 6k is prolly about right for a 'right' bag job in canada, seeing as its on a dakota.
noone can work for dirt cheap, and i'd say $1500 labor on suspension work is dirt cheap. think atleast $70 an hour when it comes to shop work.

we bag trucks as cheap as 4500 for a s10 kit but average bag job runs 5500 - 6500.00
as for bolt on kits depends on the kit. yes you need to drill holes in the frame but you bolting .250 plate and acually stregthening the frame. there are cheap kits out there that clam to be bolt on and there not. they are a univeral kit and need alot more work then they tell you.
and check your shops out stop in every soo often see whats going on in the shop ee if there progress beign made on trucks ext. some times its worth driven the extra or paying a lil more for a shop and get a reliable set u with all the small details taken care of.

i am the same batman13,
i'm lookin to 'bag mine and parts alone are gonna clear 3G
and i'm doin the work
i'd go with a bolt-on if all you want to do is tuck those 22s.
they are safe and strong,
thump3r, aren't you building a bolt-on kit?

So where did you come from that you could get a complete set up for $3000? That doesn't sound right. $4000 -$5000 even sounds cheap to me considering that your getting someone else to do the work. BTW I bought a "Bolt-on" kit from Air Ride Technologies and it's a well built kit that doesn't turn your frame into swiss cheese. It was expensive but there was little or no fabrication work involved. All said and done with the air management system, fittings, gauges, etc. I'm sitting at about $3500 in parts alone.
