front end solution
I think I have a cracked a-arm because my passenger side, front sqeaks and creeks prety badly. I thought it just might be my shock, which is trashed anyway. Can anyone help me with this/
This is important because i'll need to know what kit to buy for my 2/3. I was gonna buy djm drop, but if it's my a-arm I was going to buy the a-arm kit to replace it.

yeah i dought it's a cracked arm. all the weight on that you would see it separating. could be old bushings maybe throw some grease on them. don't get djm arms though man. those things are so dangerous how they made them. atleast the 3" arms are because they just drug the ground if i bottomed out.

If you run a large enough tire they wont touch the ground....i set my truck up in front using the stock RT wheels and tires 255/55/17s and the arms were 1/2 inch off the ground....Im not gonna use a tire that big tough so mine might hit..o well...if i had a tubing bender id make my own

Ill check that out. I'm hoping it's partly my shock b/c my truck sits kind awkward too. I notice the left front is slightly lower than the right.
I'll try replacing or greasing the bushing. I've done any maintenance in that area of the truck before

that'll be your spring not your shock. if your shock is what is holding up your front end, then you shouldn't be driving the truck

the ball joint will make more of a popping sound. the bushing will creek if your getting alot of front end movement. the shock shouldnt be makign any noise. if its sitting lower one side then the other its likly the spring and it will make a creeking noise if its broke. my dads old dak broke a spring and it creeked terrible
