adjustable control arms
ok ive seem alot of s10 guys shimming there control arms to allow more room to tuck
i was thinkin why couldnt you make a set of arms with adjustable links?? be able to narrow or widen and adjsut your alingment with a simple turn of the link. using 1 1/8 link ends
i knoo the upper mounts would need to ahve a diffrent frame mount since they use the mounting bar
im just throwing a random idea out there and want to see what everyones opions are! would there be a need in this??? or have i lost my mind and am not thinkin straignt

i think it sounds cool, you wouldn't need much adjustment either.

the shims are for alignment originally cuz most s-10 arms are not made for proper anti-dive ans caster. you could keep the center bar and just get rod ends that thread into the upper arms and are mounted to the shaft. kinda like a permantly mounted wishbone almost. i've seen tacos done like that.
personally ima build mine to not only tuck but keep most of the same specs for anti-dive and caster angle. so it not a pain in my ass for braking and when i put it on the rack to align it (i do my own alignments)
give it a try and see if you'd like it or how it actually would work out

wehn i build mine i need them to tuck for my body drop but i also want them to be durable since i will be driving it daily in the summers. im not even sure if i want to build these LOL it was jsut an idea i had flying in my head. i lke trucks with camber but hell i want to save my rubber and be able to drive my truck with out new tires every month.
the control arms i have made now will tuck 20s and hardly any camber im just worried about my 22's that i will need camber when slammed to clear the fender. and i dotn want to narrow the control arms to much and lose steering my trucks long enough to manover now that its 18" longer then a stock quad cab.

What are you guys using when you all build your own control arms? I'm having trouble figuring out how I'm going to go about building my arms. I definately need to figure something out soon though.
