well your problem is you got a 4x4.The rear can be droped easy the front ummm i dunno about that.Your limited ny how much you can loosen the tbars and what not involved with that. They dont make gen3 spindles but theres a very very small chance that the gen1/2s might work cause the use the same ball joints, iffy part about that is the steering angles i dont know if they are the same.If you realy want to take on a challenge and possibly open a new option for us gen3's it might be worth your moeny to try it.Iv wanted to test it but havent had the time to.But like i said other then the ball joints workin i dont know how the steering is with em.

on my 04 4x4 i crank the torsion bars in the front all the way down about 3inches and the rear i put Chevy 1500 lowering shackles which gave it 4inches or 2inches i forget but the shackles are like literally a quarter inch from the bed so a few hard bumps u will hear the shackles hitting the bed but no big deal.

I have never paid much attention to the 4X4 setup; can you flip the ball joints and taper the spindles from the bottom for about 1.5" of drop?
