9 questions about lowering

ok, so i put what i thought were 2 inch drop springs in the front of my truck, does anyone else think theyre 3's?(see pic) do they even make 3 inch springs..the reason i ask is because it has 3 inch blocks in the rear and the back still sits an inch higher...or was i spossed to do 2/4 to get it competely level?.. also, the drivers side sits a half inch lower measured at the top of the wheel opening (27") whats the possiblility that its due to having my sway bar disconnected (had to cut it off when i did the springs)...AND bumpstops..what do i do with them? i have about an inch cutt off the fronts right now and that leaves me about an inch between the a-arms and the "new" stop..do i cut them right out or is what i have now legit

3" drop springs are available. Had a set on the front of my truck before I went to bags. Your truck sitting lower on one side compared to the other wouldn't or could have something to do with the sway bar being disconnected. The sway bar is connected to the A-arms in an imaginary straight line and does keep things level out front from left to right to a small degree when the truck is just sitting there. It's more evident when you corner hard and it does it's job then.. Without it the weight of your truck is resting solely on the springs. Are these new or used springs?

The bumpstops should be cut down, resized, or replaced with something that will stop the suspension travel just before the tire comes into contact with the fender lips.

thanks alta boy, the springs are used but not much from what i understand..i thought maybe one of the springs might be sagged more because of the engine offset or something..one of the shocks is also weeker then the other(that could be the culprit too)..ill get some new swaybar links and if that doesnt fix it ill look at some shocks down the road...the angle isnt even really noticeable but my dads making it sound like its out 4 inches so im trying to resolve this to shut him up hahaha theres lots of work to do on the body before i worry about getting a fat girlfriend to squat down the passenger side

had the problem.....not a sway bar, i ran mine with out a sawy bar so thats not it. it's the shocks if it's like mine. i had one shock just about blown out and it cause the one side to sit a little lower. are you running drop shocks or just the stock ones? look into getting sme drop shocks if you don't they will help the ride also.

since when did they ever make 3in for early gens???

check your body mounts too while your at it. it could be possible that the drivers side is blown out more than the pass. just a thought

they are drop shocks but are used so one had a little less "umph" (probably the drivers side, stock one was shot on that side)...body mounts are all fine minus the passenger side rear that was replaced when i had the parts truck..ill just figure replacing the shocks after i actually get the thing on the road..at least everything will be nice and free this time
