Rear End Questions

I have a 2000 dakota rt rear with drums, can i take the drums off and stick regular rt disk breaks on it, the brackets on the end of the housings looked the same i just wasnt sure. also i dont know if anyone knows this but how far are yous narrowing the rears to tuck the back wheels on a bagged dakotas.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the rear end being offset, when you narrow it 6 inches can't you swap the long axle for the short one and only have to buy one axle. If that makes sense.

no you can't just take off the drums and put on disks.... there are kits out to do the swap but they are pricey.....

Alternatively you could buy on 03-04 rear end that had disks already and just put that in

yea i was thinkin about buyin one with disks already but i kinda got stuck with the one i got now lol. yea i was also thinkin about usin the one axle for the one side. thanks though.
