? for Dragn94

Quick question for yah,

What's going on with the upper and lower control arms you were working on? I've been talking with Steve from Cando, and he said that he still is working on arms for the GenI/II's. DJwolf and I did an expirment with some of his old stock control arms, and they virtually bolted right up to my old 87 frame. It almost seemed as though there would be little to no mods needed to make them work. Based on that I bought a set of newer style DJM control arms, which I will flip the ball joint on (after I reinforce it). So at this point all I need is some tubular uppers and I'm ready to go. So again do you have any idea on a lead time or what's going on with the arms you were looking into.

Jay

well i was gunna make a set but due to me being buisy as hell at work i never got around to it. right now im just waitin on steve..cuz i decided against the barely legal arms.

i knew the uppers where the only ones we'd need. minus the gay flipped ball joint they have on the lower its always been pretty much a direct fit..i'll get a hold of steve again and see what the progress is. so im playin the waiting game just like everyone else.

i helped steve (owner of cando specialties) with a lot of measurements ( steering geometry, ball joints, alignment issuses) when he made the first set of tubular arms to lay on 22's for adam..[starscream] these arms are now being made for all 3rd gen dakotas...

so he decided to make arms for the early gens also..so i usually call steve every couple of weeks to shoot the shit...but its just a waiting game..he's waiting on a front frame from a junk yard to use as mock up. and im just kinda waiting till winter when the prototype set should be done and arriving at my house..

these are specifically for bags
