Gen 2 static drop
ok unelss some people tell me im stupid for doing so, im going to flip the hangers in the rear. i know i need drop shocks and want opinions of brand preferencees. i also need advice on dropping the frt. ive found bellteck spindles for like $250 (wow) and western chassis (thanks busted) for $200. i havent been able to find springs for my 95 ext cab v8. w.c has springs, but lists that they dont work on mine. ive heard of people using r/t springs because of their stiffness, but will they work on mine? i need to cut them? what if i want to bag later, is this money im about to spend preperation for, or money wasted? i was going to wait until i built my motor, but i just got some 17" r/t wheels and looking at the way 93dakspoRT's truck looks (looked, i still see it from before), its driving me crazy to get that stance. any guidance will be appreciated. ill send ole-busted to mow your lawn and bruzer to blow the snow from your driveway....

OK, now I know flipping the hanger has become popular but I have some questions.
1) What about pinion angle? It's going to raise the back quite a bit which will nose down the diff petty badly.
2) Ride??? You will not be working both ends of the springs equally, in fact you will basically be pushing in on the rear spring?
I would think if you're going to all the work to pull the box and grind the rivets you should buy hangers.
Please excuse my drawing
Am I all F&*&^D up here?

ok so heres the basic breakdown of flipping the hangars...
1. its FREE!!! FREE is a good price 2. i never had a problem yet... 3. its the same basic idea as doing shackles, just 200 dollars cheaper. if my theory is correct you should be able to run that way WITH blocks for a long long time. the ride quality is unnoticable compare to the front, especially with an ext cab. as far as pinion angle goes, i did just a hangar flip (4"drop) and no blocks, but was going to put 2" blocks in later (never got around to doing it) the pinon angle never changed from stock. if it does for you for some reason get some pinon shims. this is all stuff from experience for me so if you have an ?'s PM me and i can answer any ?'s for you.
