new ball joints for drop????
Ok, so I was gonna keep this under wraps untill after it was done but I have a somewhat idiotic question:
I'm about to throw in the 3/4 drop this saturday and was wondering if I should get new ball joints? I'm hoping the answer is no. Would it be possible to re use the ones that are already in there?
BTW: since this is on the table now, anyone that wants to come by and help out is welcome. there will be free pizza and drinks on me. I plan on startin this around 8 or 9am and working untill it's done.

Bout time you dropped that suma bitch. lol You don't necessarily need new ball joints but it gives you some piece of mind knowing that everything is new and good.. At the very least check the condition of the ones that are in there. When I did the 3/5 static drop on mine I didn't replace the ball joints. I'm still running the original lowers but the top ball joints were replaced just before I bagged my truck. You using coils or a-arms up front?

If you had your upper ball joints replaced and they're bolted in, rather than the factory rivets, it'll make the job that much easier. The lowers are kind of a bitch to do but the uppers are easy.
