Engine swap
So I'm wondering if I can swap out my V6 for a V4. I'd rather have it due to the gas conditions here in Cali plus it seriously has to be filled basically EVERY WEEK. If anyone has a V4 that will fit and wants a V6 lemme know.

You want a 4banger which is a inline and yes dakotas have the 2.5L, only one sive 4banger.If you get one you can turbo it just a little somethin extra to make up for the size.

It's real hard to find one that's the same year as mine (97), are there any auto places that will swap my V6 for a 2.5L?

you ar goin to contradict yourself with tryin to put that motor in the 4 cylinder uses the same if not more to move that truck plus puttin a turbo is makin it worse
