3.9 v6magnum-v8 magnum

ok so i have a 97 dakota automatic with the 3.9 and there is a guy who totalled his 2000 dakota club cab and is selling it for parts
so i was wondering how hard it would be to do an engine swap?
any body have expieriance or know anything about switching these engines?
i dont know what size it is its a v8 magnum? i think my dad said 318? is that correct?and its not an rt

I would be either a 5.9 or a 4.7......swaping from 3.9 to 5.9 is not overly difficult. Not sure how a 3.9 to 4.7 would work, everything is different

But look around on the forums...there are alot of threads that talk about 3.9-5.9 swaps
