open up the exhaust even a freeflowing muffler alone will help

loose the clutch fan

good plugs, wires and dist. cap w/brass contacts

some type of a good airfilter. K&N fipk or an open element.

superchips programmer works very well

180 deg. thermostat

add lots of billet too.

What about the crank sensor mod and relocating the IAT?

If you get the superchips you don't need the crank sensor mod and it will do other things as well. The IAT mod seems to go good and bad. I have a sensor to install that does the same thing I just haven't done it yet. It's easy to do so I don't see how it could hurt any.
