93 red paint
Does anyone know the paint code and can I get it in a rattle can? I looked on the inside of the door frame but I didnt see it. Trying to paint my roll pan myself and a rattle can would be great. Thanks.

try under the hood.. i think i saw a paint code under mine but im not 100% sure
its a sticker on the bottom of the hood

if it's bright red, it should be PR4.

The truck has been repainted but Im not exactly sure what color. Does this look like a factory color?

They ran pr4 up to 04 i believe. But that is definately the color cuz its the only red they put on these trucks. The brighter red on the bottom of your door is the original PR4 paint.

the paint you see at the bottom of the door is original. I dont know what the rest is. Did they ever offer a darker red? The reason I ask is because the hood I have is a junk yard hood but it matches the paint. I was going to look for the code under the hood but its covered with a foot of snow and I think I cut it out when I gutted it.

Looks like they offered 3 different reds.... AutoColorLibrary - Color Chip Selection

but poppy red aka PR4 is the most used.

Well I got PR4 and it no where close to the color but it does match the original color that is starting to show. Im pretty sure he the person who painted it mixed in a handfull of mud to give it a ugly unique PR4 lol

the hood does say PR4 and I dont think its ever been painted. I guess I never noticed that it didnt match.

uh my 2 cents
i got banner red krylon from walmart and it matches my dakota very closy and mine looks like your darker red

PR4 is basically the only red of that "shade" from 87-04.

There is inferno and so forth, but they are way off that color.
