well they make supercharger kits for the 4.7.... but turbo kits are pretty universal and most of the time cheaper... just add in the cost of tuning when you're looking at boost kits (usually around $500)

boost has absolutely nothing to do with the bore of your motor.

turbo systems are generally cheaper depending on your goals. either way theres a good chunk of change to be spent. best bang for buck: nitrous. spray the snot out of it and dont tell them about it.

depending on the how many pounds you would want to push it would be idle to bore out and get bigger pistons so the motor could withstand it. its obvious i will need bigger injectors and ex. and yes if i want a blown motor that is worth nothing i can run 20 pounds with stock pistons and see how far that gets. there alot that goes into boosting if you want to do it right. just asking for the best route to take on the stock block. i have done my research and herd the 4.7 dont hold up to well just trying to get way almost like how the lightning with the ten pounds.people who have boost please pop in..want to get this done before spring if even possible..

Only thing cylinder bore has to do with boost is spool time but that is really a matter of CI not just bore. Your talking about the quality of the piston not the size. Increasing your bore will only weaken your block if it can not handle the thinner walls.

sounds like you should just do a remote turbo with sct, larger injectors, and a inline aux pump.

Call STS. Im working on my front mount now but I've never delt with a rear mount. I know the turbine will have to be small to keep a decent spool time with the reduced back pressure. Top end efficiency will suck with the small turbine but theres not much you can do about it.
