do you have any issues with running the grooves on the smooth pulley?

You should be able to put another ribbed idler in its place, you might have to make a little spacer but it should work.

Did you get the autozone rack yet?

No issues at all! I think the belt I used was for a 4.6 ford v-8. It was a pain finding the right belt, I went back and forth to the parts store about 5 times lol..

I think you may be able to find a 4 cylindar belt system that may work. I'm going to be doing this as well. So the 4.6 ford v8 belt info is very much appreciated.

I finally found the right belt today. 55 7/8 7 rib. Only place that sold it was NAPA and it was $45

the 55 7/8 from napa does not work but the 6 rib 56" from advance auto does. The 4.6 mustang is a 6 rib not 7.
