So I’m purchasing a ‘92 LE Club Cab V8 and going to do some customizing in a few weeks. The body is fairly free of rust but needs a few dents worked out and a complete new paint job. I’ll be fixing all those spots prior to the paint job.

I know I don’t have to skills to complete a factory polished paint job and was wondering if anyone has any experience with Raptor Liner Spray on Berliner’s for paint. From the best info I can tell, i’d need about 8 Liters or ~$200 for the material compared to a lot more cost for a good paint job.

Since this is going to be a receational truck used for hunting/fishing/camping I like the more rugged look of the Berliner and I’ve heard it’s much more resistant to scratches and dents. How well does it hold up over time? Does it fade or stay fairly bright after adding paint?

I had mine sprayed by Line-X. Had the option for uv protection. It's professionally done and looks factory. Worth the price for $500.
