whats up i juss did my drop on my 2000 dakota cc 5 speed v8 2wd , 2in lower arms w. 1in coil , 5 inch shackle and hanger mounts for a 3/5 drop . i have a slight vibration in the rear not bad but the kit didnt come w. pinion shims . do i need them and if so what size. thanks

i heard from one of my boys that works at a shop and said i dont need them cuz i got a two piece drive shaft . how true is this if it is, not used to the whole truck sceen yet

I had a two piece on my quad cab. I had a static drop of about 2.5" and I didnt need them. Any lower and I bet I would get a vibration. Just make sure the angle difference between your carrier bearing u-joint and your differential u-joint are within ~1 degree.
