I was looking at the front suspension and I was wondering if anyone ever thought or tried to flip the ball joints so they face upwards? Wouldn't this relocate the spindle a few inches upward making it lower? It looks like you would have to trim some places on the lower control arm though. Any thoughts on this?

Yah I guess it would seeing that the wheels just tuck because of the camber. If it would be a few inches higher, then the tires would hit the fender. Unless you have a wheel that has a few inches to spare. Oh well just a thought.

It has been done. Scotty from Twisted in Fresno had it done when his truck was at Sisco Kustomz in Visalia. KPI (Now Closed) did all of the machine work. You can see his body dropped Dakota on 20s in the show coverage for Forbiden Fantasies all over the net.

It seems like it'd be almost too much work to do though. I got my dak to lay out on the 20"s just fine...mind you more cutting was involved. Ah well i guess if you had it machined then it wouldn't through the camber off....you could also have your camber corrected a little bit too if you did it that way. Mines gettin S/F b/d on 20"s an 22"s this winter. If you have any tips on how to do it to a dak let me know i can do it to a s10. But my dak looks a lil different
