I just put Edelbrock TES Headers on my dakota. Wow what a blast you cant go wrong with Edelbrock. The only thing I suggest is a better set of Gaskets such as felpro. The TES stands for Tubular Exhaust System and it comes with everything needed to directlly bolt on including the Y-pipe. Michael

i disagree with the guest long tube headers dont give you any extra power unless your runnin alot of horses i dont know if you watch spike but they did a dyno test with 2 mustangs all the same work done and the only diff was one had long the other had short and the one with long was actually half a horse lower power i would say go with a header out of jegs thats were i got mine for my v6 the price was rite and i noticed good amount of torq diff

ok, here's my 2 cents. try kook's header's (I think that's how to spell it). the last time i used them was for my 97 cobra, which was lowered and i thought no one would have them, but kooks made up a set, and i gained around 15 hp and never had clerance problems. only bitch was to get them in. i'm sure i'll call them soon for my '03 4.7, once the fundage smoothes out.

whatever headers you go with i woul put in an x pipe...i read that an x pipe gives you like 20ft lbs torq over straight duals and they seem to make it louder

i have used the mopar performace parts headers with great results. i would look into that. the nice part about using the mp headers is they will cover any problem with them and will pay for the labor and the dealer is very helpful with that
