okay so here is what i have going on,,, i own a 91 v6 dakota,, all my mods are listed below,,,, i just recently installed a 93 318 holley throttle body on my truck,, direct bolt up and everything went smoothly throughout the installation, after instalation i worked the throttle a couple of times "truck not running" to make sure everything was legit and it all was working great,, then i i took it for a test drive,,,,, once the truck is running the throttle almost seems to be on a bind, hard to explain by typing but when i first get into the throttle such as shifting gears the gas petal just doesnt want to move freely but shut the truck off and it moves very easily,, so i was thinking hmmm vaccum problem so i swapped all of the v6 connectors "vaccum and electrical" onto my v8 tb and.... same problem i am super stumped as to what is going on,,,, i love the little bit of power i can feel after this swap but if i cant get this problem resolved im going to have to go back to the little bitty v6 tb,, just way to much bucking when shifting gears from having to jam on the gas petal to get it to move/////////// if anybody has had this problem or as any idea/ opinion as to what i should try,, feel free to chime in

ps if somebody helps me resolve this i will personally mail you a v6/v8 throttle body spacer as a gift!!some people think they are worthless some people love them,, i personally love them ,,, neat sound and i CAN tell a difference with the addition of my CAI and heyy its free

If it was the cable, he would feel it when the truck is shut off to?

Really sounds weird tho...

I would think the TB spring is binding up.. but you said you could move it by hand fine? which means its the cable but your not feeling the bind with the truck off... So your trucks just stupid. the end. lol. jk
