Yep, on my previous truck, 97 Dakota reg, it layed the crossmember up front and the front leaf mounts in the rear. The leaf mounts stick down about 1-2" below the frame. On the ground the pumpkin was hitting the bed, but I didn't have to cut a hole.

Without bags - use some drop lower a-arms 3" dropped, and out in maybe a 1" drop spring in as well. For the rear, get some 5" drop shackles and hangers with the leafs too and some mini notches.
With bags- 2600 lb. bags all round, mini notch in the rear. Well you get the idea on this one.
