Hi, names Mark, new to the website.
I have a 1996 with a 318, 5speed tranny.
My tach doesnt work unless the truck is WOT, and im not sure its reading right. Please help!

do all the other guages work properly?

yes they do its just the tach that doesnt.

check for loose wiring and/or a bad ground.

my tach stopped working one day it was stuck at around 2 grand but after it sat over night it was working the next morning,not really sure what happened.pretty sure its electronic but other than that i dont know much else lol
