I have an 03 dodge dakota, its sitting on 24s with 305/35R24. The truck has a 2 inch lift in front and 3 in the rear. I recently traded my 04 chevy blazer for it. I like the look but the tires rub too bad when turning. What can I do to get a better turning radius? opinions appreciated!

with a truck donk'd out all hood like you'll never turn with those inner fenders, simply enough that tire is oversized compaired to the oem tire dimension and will rub. toss the inner fneders or buy narrower wheels with the correct backspacing

r/t rims were 9.5 wide for a reason. thats the widest that fits well up front. i ran a 275 wide tire on 17" no issues. put the same tire on a 10" wheel up front and it scrubs the control arms just before lock.
if you want an agressive look...look at this

well maybe not street tires, the bama boys down here are just getting negative offset wheels with low profile offroading tires.

So this is what im Dealing with. The guy I got it from said its a stock suspension in the front. 3 inch lowering blocks in the back. I took a trip to Ft. Pierce this weekend, about a 2 hour ride down 95. the truck road smooth until the overpasses came and where the concrete meets the bridge my wheels would rub the upper fender, then the turn radius is just as bad. Does anyone know what I need to prevent this. Heres some pics of what Im dealing with. Im thinking of cutting back alot of the inside fender and at the 2 1/2 thick firewall. other options appreciated. (taller coil springs, new shocks, spacers,...?) idk This is my first dodge so Im not too sure whats out there for them.

Finally fixed the front rub problem. After cutting, hammering, welding, sealing and painting... Finished.
