Hello,
I am considering changing out my radio for a new one with carplay.
Main goal is to have mapping on screen for traveling. Not looking for a loud audio system. Seems like there is some reasonable systems out there from pioneer, alpine and other name brands. Not sure if I am doing it myself or not but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with a change out.
Concerns are.
Fitment..
Is wiring plug and play or is there splicing.
Keeping steering wheel controls.
Any other good info or a pic would be nice.

As always thanks in advance

I recently replaced the radio on my Ford Galaxy. I ran into a problem connecting a new radio, although it was an original spare part for my model's car. I needed to find a code to unlock the radio before I could connect and use a fully new radio. The reissue of the code for the radio turned out to be a paid service. Given the purchase and replacement of an old device in a car, I didn't want to pay the full cost for a new code at a Ford service center. I solved this problem using this site Free Ford Radio Unlock Codes - Get My Radio Codes . You will probably need a new radio code too, so I advise you to find out in advance where you can get one for free, because if you want to save your money, getting a new radio code will require a bit of a wait.
