Is there anywhere you can buy taillight fillers or are they handmade for the dakotas? I cant find then anywhere

Does anyone know where I can get some 69 plymouth valiant taillights from. I seen some on an isuzu a while back and they looked good. So I am thinking about putting them in my ride.

I always hear that filler pieces dont fit right so I made my own out of sheetmetal.

Dakotaliz is right, fillers never fit right. Even the pieces that come with the tailgate handle relocators need to be trimed. Just get some 20 or 22 gauge sheetmetal. It is thin enough to bend and shape. A 4x8' piece should only be around $20. Can make plenty of fillers, shave your handles, and make a notch cover with all that metal.

I just recently ordered some taillight fillers for my 02 QC from www.candospecialties.com... they're a little pricey at $121, but I personally dont mind. Just throwing this out there if anyone cares to check them out (made for 87-04) ~Later, Kim

The fillers "CanDo" sells are nothing more than Grant Fabrication fillers. No doubt the best fillers available on the market. However, if you haven't already, prepare to do a whole lot of trimming. The shape is pretty damn good, but they need to be trimmed a ton.

My personal opinion is to buy directly from Bob at Grant Fab. and skip the middle man. Especially if it means skipping a middle man who thinks their reverse links are God's gift to minitrucks.

I got mine from grant kustoms and bearly had to do any trimming what so ever. Fit really really good.

I made some out of 18 ga. sheet metal. I thought 20-22 was a little too flimsy. I've heard good things about Grants fillers, a bit pricey for my taste. Now I just need my LEDs and I'll be set.

hand made is defanitly the way to go you will have much more flexability in the outcome of the way the look and fit and i think you will enjoy them more and you will think they look so much better if you do them yourself. may not wantto because you think that i will be too hard if you get with some folks on here i am sure they have pics of how they did it and they can tell you that it is not as hard as you think it might be

we built mine outa like 14-16ga after we put the supra buckets in there was hardly any filler left to make so it was pretty dang easy
